Madagascar is a very large island in the ocean. It has green forests and rare animals. Drivers take a big car on a very long road trip across the country. They drive two thousand five hundred kilometres. The roads are rough and full of mud.
The travellers want to see wild lemurs in the trees. Lemurs only live on this special island. Some lemurs have long striped tails. Other lemurs jump high between the branches. A local guide helps the travellers in the national park. The guide knows where the small animals sleep.
Today, many lemurs need help because the trees are disappearing. People cut down forests for wood. Now, local rangers protect the trees and build safe parks. Visitors learn how to care for nature. The trip shows that everyone must help save these special animals.
