Saturn is a famous planet in space. It is very big and yellow. Saturn has beautiful rings around its centre. The rings are made of ice and rock particles.

Today, Saturn is shining very brightly in the dark night sky. People can see this famous planet from Earth easily. You do not need a big spaceship to look at it. You can look at the sky after sunset. Saturn looks like a bright star in the east.

However, its rings are small and thin. To see the rings clearly, you need a telescope or strong binoculars. A telescope makes distant objects look much bigger. When you look through the glass, you can see the wide circle around Saturn.

Last year, the rings looked very thin and flat. Now, the rings are opening again. They are easy to see this week. Children love looking at this lovely world through a lens. It is an exciting time to watch the night sky with your family.
